The brief was to use part of an article to create a poster in a day. 

I felt the quote that best represented the text was 'Second fucking place again'; therefore I linked the words with a running track and added emphasis on 'Again' by placing it at the bottom to depict finishing below others. As well as a polyurethane (running track surface) texture overlay.
